Tabbing The Teacher Presentation Book: Identification and Strategic Planning for “Hot Spots” in Reading Mastery
Throughout the first two levels of Reading Mastery, there are various “hot spots”, or areas of difficulty for
students. For example, when students are first introduced to sounding out a word that starts with a stop sound, it is
common that they stop between the sounds. Hence, when reading the word “top” the fast way, the students read it
as “op”.
In this session, teachers will learn how to strategically teach difficult formats in the program, in order to guarantee
success on the part of students. The session will include demonstrations of the formats as well as a detailed list
of the lessons where these “hot spots” occur.
A separate e-mail will be sent to you approximately one week before the session date, outlining instructions for attending this conference. Please make sure the e-mail address that you provide us is correct and current. If you have further questions, please contact us at 315-652-3175.
